supervision …
Supervision is an integral part of my practice, it supports me to give my client the best possible care and interventions. It enhances my learning and monitors my self-care. I am not only adhering to the ethics and working practices of all counselling and psychotherapy governing bodies, I wholeheartedly value this practice. As a therapist, qualified or in training, I work towards you having a similar experience working with me.
Clinical Supervisor with a passion for working with children, young people and families.
I am a trained clinical Supervisor with experience in providing supervision to trainee and qualified practitioners from varying modalities. I have worked in several settings including the 3rd sector, education, and the NHS. While I do have years’ experience working with adults, I have a passion for working with children, young people and families. I am committed to a culturally sensitive approach while working with difference and diversity in all clinical settings. I aim to provide supervisees with a supportive learning environment where they can develop the 4 C’s – competence, confidence, compassion and creativity. It is my hope that supervisees will look forward to supervision as a safe and challenging space to grow in awareness and clinical practice.
